[ she leads him into her room, through the closet, over the river, through the woods, into the workshop, and finally into the bodyshop... where cavaliere is parked among her vehicles. ]

He bought this while we were together, because I coerced him into racing me. We raced, crashed, and... yeah... but, ah, because leaving vehicles just, like, out and about is no cool I said I'd keep it here.

[ sets a hand on it. ]

[ she can't help but to smile, moving closer so she can wind her tail around him. ]

Oh, I can absolutely do that. I'll make you so good they'll think you were hacking. [ she leads him back into the shop and to the couch. ]

Do you want to play something together? Or maybe I can show you a couple single player games you might like.

Alright. [ she grabs a set of controllers and hands one to him as she boots a game up. it's a mario knock off of some kind. ]

[ nestles in alongside him and coils her tail around him as she starts off, explaining the controls and mechanics as she completes the first level. ]

[he's attentive, at least, even as he's clumsy about some basic things. it's clear this man has never played a video game in his (or any other) life, but he seems to be doing his best to learn. gradually he starts to get the hang of it, and after many tries, completes the first level!]

Great job! [ she tightens her tail around him, keeping him close. ] In no time at all you'll be kicking all the ass. [ she's going to use her knowledge of warp pipes to skip a couple of worlds, because she wants to get to the more difficult stuff, but thankfully they kind of play independently of each other, so she's not screwing him over by doing this. ]

It's alright. I was... just curious, is all. [ she tightens her grip on the controller. ] I... you were right, BTW. [ she gets up from the couch and walks away from him. ] Nero doesn't need me. You called it. [ she smothers her face with one of her hands while he other balls into a fist and starts shaking. ]
