Ok, so despite FiN's best efforts to pick up the pieces following the imp invasion the city still looks like shit. I managed to get in contact with the city admin and I asked her if she could, like, clean the place up, because, c'mon, this has got to be bad for ratings or whatever. At first she told me to get bent, but then after some back and forth she agreed to fix the place up... but all at the cost of a community upgrade; 100K. I obviously can't get that all on my own, so I figured I could ask at least one person per unity to see if their unit wouldn't mind contributing 1K each. If we all pitch in, then we'll reach the goal in no time and we don't have to live in a stye.
I did ask her to do something first, so I know she's not full of it, but she said I needed to hit 10K first, so, like, with the help of a unitmate of mine we managed and I already poked her back, so I'm hoping we see something soon, but... [ she remembers to breath. ] Anyway! I was wondering if you and the rest of Zrael would want to help out.
[ she takes out her phone to show him the invoice. ] I know. I almost had a heart attack when she told me, but there's enough people here that it's not as bad a feat as it seems. [ she manages a small smile. ] And, cool, I'm glad to hear it.
I sort of expected some people to not be on board and... that's fine. I'm not here to tell people how to spend their points. [ she tries to sit down again, like this time it'll stick. ] If push comes to shove, then I guess I'll just be throwing a bunch of Lives in the near future.
[ she manages to sit still for a couple of moments, but then she's back on her feet. ] Here's to hoping. [ her smile falters. ] I wish things would just, like, calm down a little. Mars and Seto got transferred, so now we have two newbies and... ugh. [ drags her hands down her face. ] I hate it when people leave.
[ makes the most undignified noise as she's lifted off the ground and flipped upside down. flails, coiling her tail around her legs and covering her face with her hands as she turns bright red. ] Raven!!!
[ if better is feeling like she's going to explode, then sure. she tightens her grip on his hand as she tries to figure out how to proceed, but inevitably loosens it, so she can wind her arms around him. ] K- Kiss me, Raven, please, I feel like I'm on fire.
[ she bonks her head on his shoulder or something so she can hide her face. mumbles something that might be an answer if she wasn't speaking directly into his jacket as she shakes his head. ] ...I woke up feeling like this. [ leans back as best she can. ] It's been driving me crazy all morning and that's kind of why I've been trying to keep busy. Like, if I ignore it, then it'll go away. [ aggressively shakes her head!!! ] N- No dice.
