[ she drops right back into the chair, but reaches for his hand, so she can nuzzle it. ] I'm sitting. [ she's really warm... for once... ]

[yeah he's going to sit sidelong in her lap now]

[ if better is feeling like she's going to explode, then sure. she tightens her grip on his hand as she tries to figure out how to proceed, but inevitably loosens it, so she can wind her arms around him. ] K- Kiss me, Raven, please, I feel like I'm on fire.

Did me turning you upside down arouse you?

[ she bonks her head on his shoulder or something so she can hide her face. mumbles something that might be an answer if she wasn't speaking directly into his jacket as she shakes his head. ] ...I woke up feeling like this. [ leans back as best she can. ] It's been driving me crazy all morning and that's kind of why I've been trying to keep busy. Like, if I ignore it, then it'll go away. [ aggressively shakes her head!!! ] N- No dice.

Can you think of anything that might have caused it?

[because that's actually kind of alarming]

[ she takes a moment to try to focus her thoughts. ] I don't think I did anything recent that's... [ trails off, making a strangled noises as she cups her hands over her face again. ] OMG. I- I think this might be another... triggered thing...

...remember how, like, eating imp parts was stupid and bad and stupid? [ she lets her hands drop to her sides as she tries to cool her jets. ] ...mmwell, through a few different circumstances and effects I think I might have gotten another corruption. I didn't think about it during the invasion, since I didn't have the time, and then I guess I forgot about it, but... I don't know what else this could be. [ ... ] I'm not sure the trigger, but I... [ she buries her face back in his shoulder. ] I need you.

[DEEPLY FRUSTRATED SIGH]

And what makes you think it's going to go away if I let you have me? What if it just gets worse?

[ she brings her legs up onto the chair and wraps her tail around herself and squeezes. ] I'm not sure what's going to happen if you do or if you don't. This is the first time this has happened. I- I'm not going to beg. I'm not that desperate. [ she totally is, but she's still opposed to begging. ] I'll figure it out on my own then.

[... sighs, and leans down to kiss her--chastely]

I'm just a bit tired today. Otherwise I wouldn't mind... as much as I'm putting on.

...it's fine. It's not like I invited you here to help figure that out anyway. I just wanted to talk about the repair bill. [ since he's off her she's going to unfurl her tail and stand back up. ] ...yeah. [ she just nods absentmindedly as she walks for the door. ]

If it becomes impossible to deal with... we'll figure something out together.

I bet it's nothing a tentacle can't fix... [ folds her arms across her chest and starts walking around like her pants are on fire. ] I'm sure they'll come out soon. [ or never. ] I'll let you know what happens later. It's still early.
