The first thing you hear is the sound of rain faintly hitting the exterior of the house. The soft pitter-patter is almost soothing, in a way, but it’s quickly followed up by rumbling thunder in the distance. You open your eyes, and for a second all you see is a flash of light--at first it seems like it’s lightning, but then you see something. A vision of a man dressed in rags, hunched over, waves of demonic power rolling over him. He howls, and something terrible starts to grow out of him: the bloody roots of a massive tree. An immense wave of panic hits you, and you can’t move, you can’t speak, you can’t breathe--

And then it’s over. It’s over. You’re fine.

The sound of rain returns. (This time it’s definitely soothing, compared to what you just saw.) You’re standing in the foyer of a mansion, a wide open living room in front of you. The door behind you is faintly ajar, leading outside.

[Oh. this room looks nice and cozy. He'll check on Raven.]

Raven looks like he's sound asleep. He looks paler than usual, but that is probably because his hair is pure white--the same color as Nero's, Vergil's, and Dante's--and he's wearing all white clothing.

The frappuccino looks freshly made.

[It looks... So much. He'll pick it up and slide into the nook next to Raven, taking a sip like a rude grampa.]

How lackadaisical Raven.

It tastes amazing.

Raven lets out a soft grumble in his sleep, brow furrowing.

[Huh. Not what he expected. He'll take another sip then wave the drink by Raven's face.]

I'm going to drink this if you don't wake.

Raven's eyelids slowly flutter open, and when he sees Cosmo he jolts in surprise.

"... what are you doing here?"

Your guess is as good as mine. Snooping, mainly.

[He hands the frappucino over]

Raven sits up and takes it, sipping.

"You're not meant to be here... not like this, anyway. Something's gone wrong."

...Not like this? How should I be here?

And yes. Clearly me being here is something wrong to some degree. But how do you mean?

He yawns and rubs his face, still drowsy.

Yes well. I an here regardless. This is certainly not how I usually experience people's souls.
