It is, technically. Or it was. I don't really mind it... though if my hair is going to be black, I'd rather have the power that comes with it.

I don't recall getting it, but I know why it's there--it's the mark of a familiar. The others are on my skin, but for some reason I absorbed its ichor into my hair. Look.

[he leans down and parts his hair, and though it's faint to see, his roots are that familiar silver-white shade]
