...alright, so climb aboard [ she moves closer to the bike and motions to its front. ] and slip the key, the pink one with the cherry blossoms on it, into the ignition and turn.

[ goes to grab him a helmet. ] Here. Put this on.

[he takes the helmet and has a moment where he figures out how to adjust it before putting it on, and straddles the bike, placing the key in the ignition]

... and turn.

[bike successfully revs to life! he can follow directions, at least]

[ she climbs onto the bike behind him. ] I'm going to put my hands on your waist, alright, ..? [ and after the warning she does so. ]

[ she'll explain the basics of how to work the bike, like accelerating and braking and... turning should be self explanatory, but she'll go into that too, because leaning can be difficult, especially with a passenger. ]

[listening closely, and even though she warned him he still tenses up when she puts her hands on his waist--but doesn't stay that way for very long]

Wherever you like. That’s the great part about having a bike. You can go wherever you like in a flash! Ok, maybe not a literal flash, but it’s a great way to put some space between you and everything else.

But, hm, if you want a nice place, theeeeeen... how abouuuuut.... ok! Head straight out of here.

[he nods, and carefully drives out at first, probably going a liiiiittle too slow for her liking, but hey, he's learning. at least he didn't crash into the first tree he saw.

turning around a bend proves to be a challenge, but he makes it, albeit pretty sharply]

[ she definitely doesn’t mind his taking it slow. she’ll offer encouragement when he does something well and offer advise and ways of improving when something goes a little... not so well. ]

We can get onto the highway up ahead. Straightaways are the most fun and if you wanted to try going a little faster you can.

[by the time they reach the highway, raven's gotten a little more confident to speed up, so he's going to try revving.

[as he picks up speed, the motorcycle starts to levitate, and he uses the acceleration to propel them forward into the air]

Yeah, sure, go for it.

[ she tightens her grip and waits for it... not immediately realizing that the bike has risen off the ground until it’s levitating at least a good, at which point he’ll hear a startled yelp. ]

Holy shit—?! Are we flying!!

[doesn't answer, lifting them higher until the acceleration stops and they're just floating in midair like thirty feet above the ground]

[ peers over the edge of the bike, grinning madly. this is awesome! and opens so many new possibilities. ]

Shame we stopped though. I guess we need to go faster, huh? to keep accelerating?

Yes. I can't propel us forward very much, so it's not like I can fly around. But as long as the bike has good speed, we can... get creative.

[lowers them back down to the ground gradually]

So let's go a little faster this time!

Hey, maybe we can find one of those garden roofs. Ever been up on one of those?

No, I haven't. There's... a lot of this city I haven't seen, come to think of it.

[revving up again to get them moving]

Well we have plenty of time to explore! and there are a lot of beautiful little nooks and crannies here and there that you'd never think to look in!

[ she's going to give him turn by turn directions to get to a small little "building" she found toward the edge of town that she goes sometimes just to chill.

[after he's parked the bike and they've gone up (he floated them up) he stops to just... stare.]

It's worth the ride out, especially if you just kind of want to... get away from it all. Locking yourself in your room just isn't the same.

[ she climbs off the bike. ]

There's not much inside, since I only come here to hang every so often, but... [ she shrugs. ] Maybe a place like this could help inspire you.

[he goes to take a seat on a bench so he can just admire the surroundings]

[ she winks at him as she leaves him to the beach. she'll be heading inside the small house to get a lantern to hand out on one of the trees in case it starts to get dark. ]

[he seems pretty relaxed like this, kind of wrapped up in his own little world, so he won't notice anything until it actually does start to get dark]

... oh. It's gotten late.

[ she lets him be, because she did bring him here so he could relax. ]

Feel free to come here whenever. [ but when he notices it's gotten late she'll chime in. ] It's kind of because it's a ways out. Even on a bike it takes some time to get here, but that's half the fun. You can enjoy the ride and then enjoy... this. [ she motions around them and then goes over to take a seat beside him. ]
