V's very nonchalant about having his life threatened, which ends up irritating the dude, and he clocks V in the head with the gun.
That triggers Shadow to retaliate, who emerges in blob form and grumpily stabs the guy with spikes. V smears away blood from his nose, which is very sexy. I'm really not doing this scene justice, it's very good how the muggers all scream in terror and get pinned to the wall by kitty spikes and V takes all their money. Afterwards, as V and Griffon discuss what to do now, V notices the necklace that the woman dropped on the ground. She's been sitting in the corner this whole time, traumatized and terrified out of her mind of what horrors she's seen V and co. unleash.
He leaves the necklace behind, saying it's not worth taking.
